My experience at Peached tortilla was incredible from start to finish. I have to give props to the incredible team at this location - every member of the staff went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. It was clear everyone took pride in jobs and provided the level of service you would expect at a $60/plate restaurant. I was equally impressed with the food - it the portions were generous and the price was reasonable - and particularly loved the pork belly bowl. The ambiance is fresh, bright, and casual. The whole meal what flavorful and the service is some of the best ive experienced in Austin. The only recommendation I can think of is more comfortable seating but everything else was nearly perfect.
Help solve local hunger by eating out this weekend! Loved the special menu for Austin Restaurant Week! They are donating to the Texas Food Bank when you get the 3 courses for $40. They were able to accommodate allergies and the staff were very knowledgeable. Thank you Eline & staff for being so professional and helpful! The environment is fun and feels like an upscale diner. A little quirky. Enjoyed Lady Bird Johnson looking over me while I ate. :) Big fan of hers. Definitely will be back and liked the store next door ATown. Great for souvenirs or gifts that are quality products and witty.
@peachedtortilla started like many of Austin's hidden gems--roaming the streets as a food truck serving up inventive cuisine. Over the years, it's grown into three beloved brick-and-mortar restaurants, along with an event space, @peachedsocialhouse. Having dined here multiple times for dinner, I was eager to experience their brunch, and it did not disappoint. The Sesame Scallion Puffs with miso brown butter are now making my "must-try" list for anyone in Austin. The Crispy Rice Cakes with Sichuan pork, a reimagined take on an Asian classic, was everything I had hoped for. Our server warned us about the spice level but it's got just the right kick. The Brisket Hash is made with the same rich sauce from their popular 'Southern Fun' dinner dish! I simply couldn't get enough! Parking- Back lot parking but small (probably around 10-12 spots) They say there is more parking behind the toy store on the street. Would plan to come early to find parking!
I think this place made more of an impression the first time I was here. The second time, I ordered the same pork belly bowl and the meat was drier this time for some reason. My favorite here is the kimchi arancini balls. So crispy but also soft and paired well with the house sauce. Service was great as always, staff is very friendly here. Plenty of parking in the back. Cute decor inside, very casual.
Tried this establishment for the first time ever. It's not a really big space so i highly recommend getting reservation so you don't have to wait long for a table. Our server was amazing and very honest on everything. They have been only open since April so there are still some growing pains and people being trained and or calling in sick so kitchen was a bit backed up and our main food arrived a bit late. They were nice enough to comp us dessert for the delayed food. We ordered bunch of menu items and they were all great. We got the Thai Noodle salad which was very fresh and refreshing and light. This was my favorite dish. Brussel sprouts: that peach glaze is amazing if you love brussel sprouts highly recommend trying it. I got the trip taco, i ordered 2 brisket and one cauliflower and by accident they brought me all brisket but right away they got me the cauliflower so i appreciate that kind of service. I would say the cauliflower was amazing and the brisket was yummy just needed a bit more sauce and juice. We also order Dan Dan Noodle, it's for sure has a nice kick to it if you don't like spicy i wouldn't get it. It's not an uncomfortable spice it just has a good kick. Chimichurri Fried Fish taco comes dissembled so it's make your own taco. The condiments are wonderful that come with it, I'm just not a big dish taco person but if you like fish taco it's a good dish to try. The pork belly bites were good a bit on the dry side but overall it was a good small bite size appetizer. For dessert we got their Nutella coconut crunch and that was really good. Overall we really enjoyed it and may go back and try few other menu items.
Came here for brunch on the recommendation of a friend. Really solid choice if you're lookin for a trendy Asian fusion brunch place. Sat outside on the patio as it was a nice day out - nothing really to write home about in terms of ambiance/interior and the area/parking is kinda shady. I definitely recommend the Sesame Scallion Puffs, very tasty and pastry was puffy and crunchy to perfection Ordered the Sesame Scallion Puffs, Brisket Hash, Omusuba Omelet Would I Go Out of My Way to Try? No, just another solid trendy fusion, would go if I was in the area Would I Return? Yes Ambiance- 7/10 Food Taste- 8/10 Service- 8/10 Value- 6/10
We had a great experience brunching at this Peached Tortilla location. The indoor seating was full and only by reservation (although did not find this clearly mentioned anywhere in their Yelp page or website), there was open seating at the patio. It was a perfect day to sit outside so we didn't mind. We had the sesame scallion puffs appetizer and brisket hash and everything was delicious. The brisket hash usually comes with fried egg but can be supplemented with mushrooms and peppers instead. The china rosa cocktail with hibiscus infused gin paired so well with the food and was quite strong too :) Parking can be found behind the restaurant.
